If you are on long-term medication you will be issued with a computer slip attached to your prescription. This should be returned to the surgery when you need repeat medication after ticking the item required.
Alternatively you can order online via the link at the top of this page. New users are required to complete a simple registration.
For safety reasons, only housebound or disabled patients may telephone for repeat prescriptions.
Prescriptions can be collected from several local chemists. Just let the receptionist know which chemist you prefer (see below). If you wish your prescription to be posted, please supply a stamped addressed envelope.
Please do not ask doctors to issue routine prescriptions as this is not a good use of their time.
Local Pharmacies with collection arrangements:
- Boot Stretford Mall - 0161 865 7062
- Lostock - 0161 865 1603
- Lloyds - 0161 865 2334
- Mitford Street Pharmacy - 0161 865 6331
- Urmston - 0161 864 3733
Boots at the Trafford Centre is open until 10:00 on weekdays.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
